Large-format porcelain installed over a consistently combed adhesive bed

HOW WE APPROACH THE WORK

The job is set out before the first tile is fixed.

Preparation, wet-area details and visible lines are reviewed before the finish is committed.

BEFORE INSTALLATION STARTS

Four checks that protect the finished work.

Completed bathroom with aligned wall, floor and shower tile
Finished set-out across the room
Close detail of tile lines around a shower niche and internal corner
Niche, edge and joint detailing
SUBSTRATE

Ready before tiling

We check that the surface is sound, flat enough and prepared. Any remedial work is discussed before tiles go down.

WET AREAS

Details resolved together

Falls, drains, corners, penetrations and the membrane system are treated as one wet-area build-up.

SET-OUT

Visible cuts planned first

Control lines, full tiles, cut sizes, niches, thresholds and adjoining finishes are reviewed before fixing.

FIXING

Method matched to the tile

Adhesive, trowel, coverage, handling and movement provisions are matched to the tile size, substrate and location.
